Byrd: "Advise and Consent. Living document."

The Advise portion is an expansion of Senate powers (consultation with the President prior to nomination of judges).

Like when Joe decided he wasn't Orthodox anymore in order to be able to be pro-abortion?

Boxer on Fox now. She has already insulted Frist, said they have saved the filibuster by giving up on these three judges, absolutely shows no shame of turning on a dime on the extremism of the 3 judges. In other words, they allowed the 3 judges in order to preserve the filibuster.

Points out how Dobson is mad at Frist and says that Frist is in trouble.

Miss Marple thinks Boxer is trying to cover up the purpose of this deal, and is trying to look good about not stopping those judges.

She also lied about Alberto Gonzales, even when called on it by Martha of Fox.

This woman should not be in the Senate. she is a liar and a demogogue.

I've just gone to MST3000 mode on him. My kids think I'm nuts (mind you they keep bugging me to change the channel -- it's gonna be a long summer)...

SHEETS can even out bore Kerry, and I know he's just as arrogant. Good Lord, the people of his state has best hand him a sound defeat.

* Where do 14 liberals in the senate get the power to throw 2 of the President's judicial nominees "overboard"? *

Good question. Those 14 had no right to throw anyone over-board. What did they do? Draw straws, or something.

What a bunch of arrogant Power Grabbers. I hope Frist stands firm and fights them every inch of the way.

I just called McCain's office in Tucson and spoke with "Bob." "Bob" was courteous. When I asked how many judges had been ditched by McCain, he responded that none that he was aware of. I then mentioned the multiple Internet rumors (also in the NYT) that Kavanaugh and Haynes were also ditched as an unspoken part of the deal; his response was not to believe what you read on the Internet. My response was , "I'd sooner believe the Internet than anything that comes out of McCain's office."

I am really steamed by McCain's treachery.

If he starts to retell the Miller's tale, watch out....the most vulgar tale of them all. Byrd's talking about drunkenness and death........reflection of senate?

My recommendation for Byrd's further reading of British lit is Dante's INFERNO.....w/particular emphasis on the circle in Hell those 7 will be lodged.
