Basically, now that Chafee has cover, he is voting his true liberal obstructionist colors. This guy needs to go, even if it means a liberal Democrat takes his place.

The liberals hate Cafee and have him marked in 06

He's playing to the left in hopes they will vote for him

Won't work .. he's toast

I find it difficult to believe that Graham wouldn't be sensitive to the WH recent placement of import restrictions on Chinese apparel and that the other 6 couldn't be swayed by provisions in the Transportation Bill and the Energy Bill. Oh well, guess they're willing ot risk all.

Thanks Maggie, I didn't know the identities of the cabal who also decorate the Judiciary Committee. Arlen is on C-SPAN now, and I am trying to read him?

"...However, there is the 900-pound black pantsuit in the room."

That is also my take. If I were Howard Dean I'd be running scared along with Dingy Harry. PIAPS allowed Dingy Harry to veer far left, so that she will be the MSM'S favorite moderate voice.

Make no mistake - PIAPS and McCain are staging a Senate coup, he in front of the camera, she/it behind the lens.

BTW, saw Chafee on Linda Vester's show---he told the audience to trust him, HE'S THE PROFESSIONAL, and the audience BOOED HIM!!!! LOL

GOOD!!!! I am so sick of the ego on these people acting like we are just too stupid to comprehend what is happening.

Inouye is a signatory to the deal, the deal said they all would vote to invoke cloture, he didn't vote.........deal just got broke.

Gee .. that didn't take long

In the spirit of Senatorial collegiality, the minor infraction will be overlooked.

Maybe. But if we don't fight, we definitely won't win. I for one will be targeting my contributions to people running against the RINOs... and not ONE DAMN DIME to the RNC if there's a chance it will go to a RINO.

Indeed, elections are SUPPOSED to have consequences... like winners take all they can.

I am so incensed about this "compromise" that I have been unable to post until now. All 7 of these traitors are getting a little nasty-gram from me today. My message to McCain will include the line, "You can forget about the Presidency, Senator McCain. You lost it with your shameless pandering to the mainstream media and your sell-out of conservative ideals in the most important political battle in decades."

Granted, I would never have voted for McCain to begin with, but I have now placed him in the same category as the Clintons--never, ever would I vote for him, just as I would never ever vote for Bill or Shrillary. After listening to George Allen over the past few weeks on John Bolton and the filibuster issue, I have decided to back him should he run in '08. He has been very impassioned and eloquent on both issues and hasn't been afraid to rip the Dims for their outrageous behavior.

That moron Lindsey Graham said on the senate floor this am that he WILL vote
for the nuke option if push comes to shove.
Not that he can be trusted, but that's what he said.

*I think it is much more likely that McRat will run as an "I" in 2008. The 'Rat base won't trust him anymore than we do.*

Those in the MSM love the mcRat, though!! :( :(

He's NOT happy and now he's sort of wondering how he's going to be the arbitrator of the factions who sit on the Judiciary. Any of the dems on that committee in the cabal too?
