I've spent so much time at FR that I have to resist telling friends to "Ping me" instead of "Call me." You too, huh?? I told my buddy to ping me at work, and he had the "What the H***?" look on his face.

Say "Zot" to anyone but a freeper and he'll think we're crazy. Hahahahaha!! You aren't the only one who does that!
Yeah, well liberals better not cross me these days. They may not get a zot but they get a blast of facts and figures that reduces them to a puddle of cursing invective in abouto 30 seconds. In fact, I don't like to talk with them because I really don't like to get cursed at.

That's my very take too. I'm just dying to hear Arlen "opine." Surely he'll find some Scottish law to stop the cabal.
OH, Arlen's on a C-SPAN.

Cloture vote passed 81-18.
Reid said the nuclear option was off the table. Frist said "No, it's on the table if you refuse to vote on nominations." That battle will come another day, since cloture passed on Owen. May be a vote a vote on Owen this afternoon.
To: TNdandelion
I never suggested that Frist be "coddled". To blame him for McRat's disloyalty is to blame the victim. Furthermore, Frist's position that all of the nominees deserve a vote is exactly right. He deserves continuing support, since the battle is by no means over.
Frist is not stupid. He is very well aware how angry the base is over the continued obstruction of the votes -- first by the 'Rats, now by turncoat 'Pubs. Do you honestly think the man isn't absolutely furious with McRat? Please!!

That is the only thing RINOs have to fear from conservatives. Take that off the table and you will be ignored entirely. Then go after them in the primaries, hard. I'd love to help, but I'm trapped up here with Cantwell and Murray in the land of vote fraud.

We'll have to see about that. They're basking in the newly acquired power right now. "Power corrupts, but absule power corrupts absolutely," Lord Acton wisely opined.

Did Frist just announce he discovered he is a man after all?
Thought not.
To: Cboldt
I got a kick out of that display of written arrogance. Those Senators are going to get their butts handed to them by the WH. Oh I know the WH will just laugh at them
But it seems there should be a number of Pubbies that should tell them to go pound sand
Because that gang of 14 is attempting to take control of the Senate

I think it is much more likely that McRat will run as an "I" in 2008. The 'Rat base won't trust him anymore than we do.

Yep, and I'm counting on Bush to stratergize... he so often misunderestimated.
I really and truly do see this cabal as a side senate. The pulled off a real coup yesterday.

To: RoseofTexas
Anyone capable of beating him there?I don't know about up there, but he could get his butt whipped pretty easy in most any roadhouse in Texas.
To: johnb838
Right, and just wait until the membership of the judicial committee wake up. Right now, from what I'm hearing Arlen say, he;s oblivious.
The democrats will totally support this cabal, because now minority rules! Think about THAT.
Our only hope is for GOP senator's DeWine, Graham and Warner to wake the hell up.
