Sen. Dan Webster, R-Oviedo, tried vainly to persuade his colleagues to support a bill that was drafted by Gov. Bush's office but which the governor's top Schiavo lawyer dismissed as futile. Dan Webster is a good guy. The biggest failure in Gov. Bush's efforts occurred here in Florida, where the RINOs (Webster's "colleagues") in the state legislature would not support the effort to save Terri.
Sometimes I think RINOs are even worse than Dems.

RINOs are worse than Dims. You expect a Dim to stab you in the back at every turn, whereas a RINO will stab you in the back without warning. With friends like these...

The Florida Nine led by Sen Jim King should not be forgotten and their constituents need to be working now to find candidates to run against them.
