Thanks DollyCali. I feel like I spinned my wheels for quite a while, doing something that other people told me to do. This is my 2nd career and it's my choice and I'm loving it, despite the occasional complaining.

btw-what it means is, the study I want to do for my dissertation has passed muster as being original work and a contribution to knowledge in my field. I can (and did) defend it to my Committee and to the academic public. I can now go forth into the field and start interviewing and observing people; actually doing the study. The study is what my dissertation will be about.

Well, come to think of it, I got a bit teary when elder brother gave a tribute to his younger 'perfect' brother, and talked about how no one he knew could model the selfless love of Christ to his wife, better than his brother could. Yikes!

Oh my ... that is SO so SO incredibly beautiful, OWF .. I would've been sobbing .. what lovely, godly and caring children you and MROWF have raised. Kudos and blessings on all of you ..it sounds like a truly unforgettable day. What joy and pride you and your hubby have earned and well deserve.
