Announce Filibuster Compromise
Two will get you five, if you know what I mean. ;^)
I hate to keep beating this dead horse...but you again are assuming these RINO's will suddenly get ticked off and vote FOR changing the rules.
Sorry, I believe they'll bend over EVEN MORE to avoid it and they'll come up with yet another "agreement" simply because it strokes their egos and the MSM gushes over them like Michael Jackson at a day care center.

Blame the six or seven, not the players or team captain who played their hardest to win.
What if Owen, Pryor and Brown are nominated for the SCOTUS?
That is easy, filibuster a judicial nominee.
And you run ANYONE against them in their next primary regardless just to make them waste time and money.
Democratic Leader Harry Reid of Nevada welcomed the agreement - although he hastened to say he remains opposed to some of the nominees who will now likely take seats on the appeals court.
"We have sent President George Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and the radical right of the Republican party an undeniable message....the abuse of power will not be tolerated."
You are assuming they'll even be on the bench before this summer (they won't) when we'll get one, if not two, vacancies.
Remember, the next fight in SCOTUS will be for Cheif Justice and the Dems will NEVER let a conservative be nominated to fill his associate seat.
Am I whistling dixie or does NO ONE else understand a Democrats "word" is as worthless as confederate money?
They can not filibuster without breaking this agreement.
The 14 have declared they will decide who sits on the court and what legislation is passed. This is not a good thing for anyone.

I think he's lost all of it.
"Vitriol" ? Yet more of your projection complex showing. If you can't afford help, there are free clinics...avail yourself of their services.
And as far as being a liar, congenital or otherwise, you are an exemplar of that state.
You're the one, after all, who has repeatedly stated on this thread, that if the president wasn't not only aware of this "compromise", but complicit in it, he would be running down the street yelling his head off.
Nope, I'm not a Darwinian, but his take on mutations, just might fit you. You may be "human", but you haves the brain functions of a lemur.
Now that will be quite a trick to get rid of Reid in '06 since his term isn't up until 2011.
And by then Nevada will be leaning Dem by demographics alone with Clark county leading the way.
Geez, do you even bother to know what you are talking about?
Amazing the number of folks here who don't get it and who trust democrats.
That's uncalled for.
To hear normally intelligent Freepers, espcially some that all last week were charging like bulls in a china shop as the debate raged, think we "won something" by being "allowed" by the Dems to take their view, their language and their rules is amazing.
How have we taken the Dems view? They get nothing. If they won, how come they agreed not to filibuster and to vote for cloture on three so-called extreme nominees.
But to actually believe Dems promises is beyond understanding. How often do people need to get lied to before they wake up??
I believe that the Dems might very well lie, but if they do I think their moderate RINO friends will not let them get away with it. If it turns out that they vote down any of these three or that they made other side deals I will reconsider but that remains to be seen.
A good leader with 55 seats could have won this standing on his head.
Hang in there. IMO, you are responding to a woman who is a megalomaniac. She thinks she knows everything and she is vitriolic against posters. Another poster mentioned that she embibes the ETOH and loses control.
