LIVE: WA State Governor election-fraud trial begins
TVW (WA public affairs cable) ^ | May 23, 2005 | Hank Rearden

Posted on 05/23/2005 9:58:24 AM PDT by Hank Rearden

The trial to determine whether Christine Gregoire stole the governor's election last November began today at 9am Pacific time.

(I can save everyone a lot of time . . . SHE DID! . . . . but for some reason the lawyers insist on playing their silly games.

My link is to TVW (essentially local C-SPAN), which is broadcasting the trial live on regional cable, and streaming on their website. More coverage is available here on NWCN as well.

This is a landmark trial, as it looks to expose massive 'Rat corruption and voter fraud.

...having lived all my life in the Soviet of Washington, I will be surprised if this election is ever overturned. The ruling elites know what is good for us and elections be damned.

I'm inclined to agree. The tactic now will be to delay, delay, delay until enough time has gone by so that the Dems can say "well, heck, it was fraud but it's too late to do anything about it now. Can't we just move on?"

I'm not running a ping list, but perhaps someone else has one for the trial. Bookmark, as a last resort.

Watch....it wouldn't be FAIR.

She's such a sweet lady and her mother would be so disappointed. :(

The judge has set the bar very high, requiring "compelling evidence" that the outcome of the election would be reversed, regardless of fraud, illegal votes, or anything else. Election fraud is apparently not a free ticket to overturn the election. There's no way to know at this point what he will consider to be compelling enough to make the threshold.

Cynic that I am, having lived all my life in the Soviet of Washington, I will be surprised if this election is ever overturned.

I don't think that it will be overturned, just declared invalid and thrown out. That would put the Lt. Gov. in the Governor's seat, with an election for Governor in the fall.

I don't think that it will be overturned, just declared invalid and thrown out.

That would be the ideal outcome, anyway. A revote would add legitimacy to the winner and, if done without fraud and mismanagement, would restore some confidence in the electorate. But like I said, the bar is very high.

The Dim's attorney reminds me a bit of Alan Colmes.

And that is NOT a compliment.

So according to the Democrats so long as they can get the ballots stuffed into the ballot box, they are home free because it cannot be proven who voted in a particular race nor for whom in that race they voted. What BUNK.

I'll say it again - it must be difficult to be arguing that ballot stuffing can't be admitted as "illegal" votes because the people doing can't be NAMED individually. I guess this must be a "helpful" blueprint for stealing the next election. Liberals are mentally sick. BTTT

IT HAS BEGUN...the trial that will determine Washington's future.

A 2005 Republican card? How convenient. Isn't that a little AFTER the fact? I wonder how much the Dem's paid him to join the Rep club??

The democrat lawyer is trying so hard to avoid the admitted fraud by King County election officials. Trying to argue all the irregularities were simply 'mistakes'.

>>>The Dim's attorney reminds me a bit of Alan Colmes.<<<

Wrong. No one, but no one, is as ugly as Alan Colmes.

But the Rat attorney is boreing!!! He is somewhat droan'ie....not much inflection in his presentation. No movement - he is just standing still and talking as opposed to Foreman who moved around.

Hopefully the Judge is as bored with the guy as I am.

Trying to argue all the irregularities were simply 'mistakes'.

Even if the judge bought that line of BS, the 'Rat shyster has outlined more than enough "mistakes" to overwhelm the tiny 129-vote margin and to call the result into question.
