It seems there was a reel mix-up and at some point in the film Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi started to speak Japanese.

What's the difference, from all of the reviews the dialogue was not understandable anyway...

It was highly understandable- it just made you wish that it wasn't some times.
