Cardinal Keeler in Baltimore has said that he will not attend Loyola College's Commencement, since a pro-abortion Catholic is invited to give the commencement speech.
I think he developed some conscience or some spine while hanging out in Rome. He is strongly pro-Life. I just hope that he also refuses to sit on the same stage with our 'esteemed' senator Mikulski.

Someone mentioned it earlier, perhaps Txsleuth? but no one posted the details. It is significant indeed. I can't determine if this means hagel is counting on the RINO's to save him from a vote, or if the RINO's attempt to 'compromise' is almost dead.

A Cardinal is refusing to attend because of Rudy's pro-abortion stance? I like Rudy but, imo, so long as this is a equal rebuff to Democrats I'm on the side of Keeler.
Both Dems amd Reps that claim to be catholic but go against the Church on the issue of Life should pay consequences.
