The people, through their elected representatives, who have the power of impeachment granted under the Constitution.

I know, but when was the last time that was exercised?

To the best of my knowledge, never. Not once. The people are not aware of their power. The legislature always seeks to avoid making difficult or socially unpopular decisions so is happy (ecstatic!) to have judges do it instead. And the legislature and powers of elitism are certainly not interested in educating the public so as to turn the ship around.

The Forefathers made impeachment super difficult and it's kinda a common sense thing....An elected leader put out by the vote of a few?? Wow....They would have all been impeached for something.
