It's nice to hear someone say they believe that American's are smart enough to recognize judicial activism when we see it..
The problem is with the courts themselves and the cases that they take. Many of them simply don't belong there...They are people with different views (atheists as an example) looking for a court to boost their ideas. I believe our Forefathers considered them and said in effect...let them believe what they want to believe (equality)and let Christians believe what they want to believe etc. We will never establish a religion and our Constitution forbids just that. (Try Adams..if I remember correctly).
