No, but they can't help themselves. Despite protestations to the contrary they despise Christians in the process advocating responsibility, Life and worst of all....helping re-elect G.W.B. Christians are the main ones standing in the way of Liberal Utopia. So, they are trying to discredit Christians. nevermind this is only chasing further minorities and blue collars away from the Dem Party in revulsion to their bigotry.
Well, Wall Street probably does like it, but I also heard on Laura Ingraham's show that one reason the stock market is up is because FINALLY the Bush Administration is talking tough to China....
I just turned this on, and the arrogance and hypocrisy of these people are already getting to me.
Senator Cornyn up.
Here ya go:

Yep.
Ya-hooty!!!! My senator, Sen. Cornyn up now!
There have been 13 Federal Judges impeached and seven convicted....
A filibuster was done, but it was not on party lines. It was from both parties. Fortas later withdrew, as more corruption was found.
Finally. a sane senator up.
Thanks, ML. I had a suspicion I was not going to be as offended as Durbin wanted me to be.
LOL!
That one made me laugh out loud!
I'm sad, because I have to go into work at 2, and get to miss most of the day's action.
I can't answer your questions. Maybe someone will come along who can.
Right. That's why Leahy had to bring up that he is 'Catholic.' Well as his fellow churchgoer, I am going to Mass right now and I'll pray he changes his mind on another 'church policy', that of ABORTION.
Good for John Cornyn, after all the pontificating by Dick Durbin, it's the democrats who are being uncivil.
Frist sometimes speaks of the current judicial impasse in terms that take the Fortas case's complexities into account. "Never before in the history of the Senate has a nominee with clear majority support been denied an up or down vote on the Senate floor because of a filibuster," Frist said Tuesday. Such language puts him on more solid historical footing. The New York Times wrote of the 45 to 43 cloture roll call: "Because of the unusual crosscurrents underlying today's vote, it was difficult to determine whether the pro-Fortas supporters would have been able to muster the same majority in a direct confirmation vote."
I just arrived on the thread so perhaps this has been addressed.
My understanding is that Trent Lott first called it the nuclear option.
