That's how I was, too. I was OK with working with Kennedy on the education bill, working out a compromise on the tax cuts, etc. And after 9/11, I was willing to accept that they wanted to work together to defend the country.

I will tell you when it all changed: when HIllary Clinton made faces during President Bush's speech to Congress about the Taliban and Afghanistan and then in that December waved that "Bush Knew!" headline in the well of the Senate.

Once that happened, it was nothing but obstruction and whining and back-stabbing. I am done with them forever.

He didn't quote Bush as saying "no compromise".

He said what Bush has said all along: every nominee should get an up or down vote. Period.

That doesn't leave much for the Dems to work with. LOL!

No not for saying all Republicans are evil and he hates us. I was more speaking of his most recent gem of a comment , saying Tom Delay should start serving his jail sentence already, or something like that. This guy spouts so much garbage it's hard to keep up!
