I still want Estrada brought up for a possible SC vacancy.
I don't think you'll see his name put up again... jmo.
He had put his life and career on hold while awaiting confirmation. He was hurting the firm as he couldn't take on major clients and thus his future also or so I read some place back when he removed his name from consideration. He would have been a good one but there will be others.

If they are so brave, let's have a roll call vote on the measure and out these Senators.

What is it about Frist's position that these idiots don't get? ALL NOMINEES GET AN UP OR DOWN VOTE. Period. Nothing else to discuss.

Its not our leaders. It's the RINO's. Communicate to the RINO's they will experience defeat if they do this.

Right and if the Dems can peel off 6 Pubbies to vote against a nominee, they fail.
Isn't that fair??

Corzine now going on and on about how the filibuster has historically been used on judicial nominations (cites Fortas).
Why oh why doesn't Orin Hatch turn to him and say:
"Name ONE other president who had TEN judges filibustered. OK, name a president who had FIVE. Can't? OK, name one who had TWO!
I see you can't. So there."

To: Howlin
95%
Chuckie quoting a story, though he doesn't know who said it.
Johnny took a test and scored 95%. Most would pat the kid on the back, but not the far, far right. They'd say BREAK the rules so the kid can score 100%.

We've known that since 1776! I'll bet Benedict Arnold is their mascot!

They are cowards. they don't want to commit to a vote because then they'd have to explain that vote to their constituents.
Mark just called them weasels. I agree. LOL
CALL THE VOTE. PUT THEM on RECORD. And let the Coward's explain their votes.
