You know, I think that despite the naysayers, conservatives have done this right. Slowly but steadily win in the world of ideas. That's how we will win on judges.

I know, because when I graduated from College fifteenish years ago I was a liberal. Experience made me a conservative.

(BTW, I wholeheartedly support the nuclear option...but try to learn from those who have a different perspective. Especially those who are on the same team! That's why I love FR.)

Here's another point to ponder, which hasn't really been explored. Te Dems have painted themselves into a real corner, because many, if not all of these judges are going to pass with 60+ votes, thu stotally negating the Dem argument about the "so called " need to protect the minority..All 55 Republicans , plus many of the Dems in the red states will vote for confirmation...

I'm looking forward to it and looking forward to watching the spectacle with like-minded FReepers. I really don't see a down-side. The House nixed the filibuster many years ago and hardly anyone even noticed.
