Too bad VOOM went under... they had the best HD package. When DirecTV wanted 350 for NFL ST in HD even I had to take a stand and tell them to forget it.

That was it, I couldn't remember. My hubby talked to voom and when he found out their prices, he said he'd call 'em back when he won the lottery. Just a three or four weeks later, Voom folded.

Direct TV is great if you are a sports fan. I LOVE having every game on, I got screwed this year with no hockey season.I am Montreal Canadiens fan and would watch EVERY game, CBC coverage is the best. I got the basketball package this year.I think directv has exclusive rights for the NFL, once you watch a game in HD nothing else will do. Hopefully the NHL will have more games in HD, if the idiots ever get it together and play again.
