Congresswoman says more workers should be hired to patrol borders
- U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Houston, called for Gov. Rick Perry to ask the Minutemen not to expand militia patrols of the U.S.-Mexico border from Arizona to Texas.
"I urge the governor to disinvite the Minuteman Project. Ask them not to come here," Jackson Lee said Sunday.
The group has posted volunteers in Arizona to alert authorities to illegal immigrants crossing the border.
Organizers have expressed an interest in recruiting in Texas and beginning patrols along the Rio Grande in October.
Jackson Lee said she sees it as the "dereliction of duty" by the federal government not to have improved staffing in customs and the border patrol.
She said she will advocate that money be increased to hire more workers to patrol the borders.

Sheila (Jessie Big Time Suck Up) (Action) Jackson (Robert E.) Lee.
This Bimbo has about the same low intelligence of most of those Lemmings that follow the Congressional Black Congress and their racists views.
Just what has she done that is note worthy while in congress.
She seems to enjoy pimping for every major radical cause no matter how anti-American or racists in nature.

I think the Minutemen should go to the border in Texas, and not worry for even a second about Jackson Lee. Besides, given that she thought the MARS rover could putt over to the place where our astronauts placed the American flag (which was actually on the moon) she probably thinks the border between Texas and Mexico runs between Colorado and Utah. DUHHH!!!

Lol well don't look at me, I voted for DeLay. If they'd hurry up and gentrify the ghetto part of Houston she'd be out of power.

>>She knows damned well that the Minutemen will flat-out bust her constituency as they come straggling across the border, whereas she can play politics with the Border Patrol to keep it Business As Usual.<<
She knows the MM would also shut down the drug trafficking as an unintended consequence then it certainly wouldn't be "Business As Usual"!

I hear the hospital write-offs for Cochise Country were the lowest they have been in many years as a result of the illegal alien patient load having dropped off to almost nothing in the month of April 2005.
No coincidences there.

An old-fashioned expression -- I think Mark Twain used it.
It basically just means "go to hell."

No, your question was a good one. I doubt that most people know the expression anymore.
