I'll get the ball rolling. I had the honor and privilidge to serve in the USMC from 89-94. It was a great experience and made me who I am today.

They don't call them DUmmies for nothing.
I was U.S. Army active duty from '67-'70.
Heck, I think there is a higher percentage of veterans, reserve and active duty on FR than on almost any other forum on the web, excluding those specifically set up for them.

I'm a veteran, active reserve 93-99.

Frankly I'm fed up with the chicken-hawk crap.
Apparently the liberals argue that only vet's have the right to decide whether the country fights. Do they really think that veterans are going to side with them in any geat numbers?
And if it is to be a rule that you have to be a veteran to decide to fight then should only be combat veterans have a say? Why should a former chaplain's asst. in Fort Monmouth NJ have more say than a businessman in Atlanta. And if its only combat vets maybe it should only be wounded combat vets. And if its only wounded vets do guys with several Purple hearts get multiple votes?
Silly
