Lucas has been dogging George W. Bush for 28 years. Take this exchange from the first movie:

LUKE: You know, between his howling and you blasting everything in sight, it's a wonder the whole station doesn't know we're here.

HAN SOLO: Bring 'em on! I'd prefer a straight fight to all this sneaking around.

" HAN SOLO: Bring 'em on! I'd prefer a straight fight to all this sneaking around."

Wow! I remember that line! Here it's all been about Bush since I was a teenager. This is eerie./(sarcasm off)

Wow! That's a good one! I wonder how many other commonly used phrases we could dig up and attribute them as allusions to Bush. I bet the left is scanning the screenplay right now, trying to find anything they can to distort Lucas' movie and his motives. Of course, Lucas won't really deny these things since he's a liberal, but inside I'm sure he's thinking to himself, "where do these people come up with these things?"

Well done.

"I had a bad feeling about this" thread - glad I read it - now I won't have to worry. If this is the most anti-Bush the leftists can come up with, then no worries.

I was kind of worried it would ruin the movie for me.

May the Force be with you -
