You're absolutely right, and the democrats will be all too eager to jump on the "Bush is trying to silence the media" bandwagon, thus giving this theory that much more credibility.

Yes, this will join the list of tales told to Islamic children -- like the Jews using the blood of arab babies for their passover ceremony -- this tale of Amaericans desecrating the holy book will create generations of anti american feelings.

This hatred was predicted by the leading leftist media when we went into the Middle East with our military, and when they could not find enough of it to spread around, it looks like they fabricated the story and the "source".
