The Talk Shows
Sunday, May 15th, 2005
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): National security adviser Stephen Hadley; Sens. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.; Gov. Mike Huckabee, R-Ark.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : National security adviser Stephen Hadley; Sens. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., and Joseph Biden, D-Del.
Thanks for the FOX running commentary. I'm looking forward to seeing it first (?) hand in awhile.
Wallace et al snatch at anything to criticise. Worse than backyard gossiping. Remember, his father is Mike Wallace...family tradition, you know.
Well, it was just stupid. He seemed to be implying that Bush didn't care that his wife was possibly in danger. Like we think that there are no procedures to protect the first lady.
I'm getting the distinct impression that there is something the democranks don't want folks to know about the UN/State Dept. relationship...and Bolton just might upset the house of cards they've so carefully crafted since the Clinton Admin. The opposition to Bolton is fast approaching the absurd. He's too zealous or abrassive in doing his job?....come on.
Perhaps Frist should propose a new rule for the senate that limits the number of appearnces a senator can make on the Sunday talk shows during one year.
It was NOT Bush's decision that he wasn't informed. It was the SS....a little detail that was left out.
LOL. That is not a bad idea.
McCain and Biden would use up their appearances before Valentine's Day.
On Chrissy's show
Bob Woodward thinks Cheny is a dark horse canidate in 08
LOL.
FNS is delayed here in Austin, and I just heard that part about the Read statement and Durbin's remarks.
Byrd option LOL...LOL...
working hard, very hard to avoid the nuc option
BS BS BS and more BS
Then you also heard Durbin state that this is a Constitutional change. Baloney, it is just Senate rules we are talking about here. The dems are increasingly desperate. I am really liking this.
bttt
I just went back and checked previous years of donations for Prof. Bloch and lo and behold, she even donated to Ralph Neas of People for the American Way. And of course, Bill Clinton. She's unbelievable.
Durbin and the rest of the RATs don't know the Senate rules. I didn't watch "the swimmer", but I'd bet he had the same set of DNC talking points on Slay the Nation.
Not filabustering judicial candidates is the RESTORATION of a 200 years senate practice.
Be still my heart!
On CBS, Kennedy is AGAIN saying that the "Iraqi people need to shed their own blood" for Iraq.
