Looks like we're the only ones applauding. I hoped someone would pick up on this creative kid. After reading of his previous 'antics', I liked him ... and I didn't want to be alone (though I would have posted anyway).

Sure hope he's a conservative.

,,, we can't win 'em all, maybe he will be. At the very least he'll be one of those who make things happen, rather than one of those who asked what happened. Good luck to him.

A friend of mine has a son who's been suspended several times for stunts like this. Once he got tossed for stripping down to a thong during some sort of weird talent/school spirit/popularity contest sponsored by his school. The Vice Principal chased him all the way down the street to his house.

Another time he got tossed for writing an essay about his first memory. He chose to write the essay on breastfeeding and ended it with this sentence-- "So that was my first memory. I was six years old at the time."

Obviously his sense of humor doesn't translate well with the school bureacrats (or with his dad), but I think he'll do alright....
