Right. Ok, lady. Next time this happens the Capitol police will have a "sidewalk seminar" and explain carefully and fully that they believe that there is an unidentified plane possibly carrying explosives headed for the Capitol or White House or somewhere nearby.

And there will be grief counselors to help you cope with it. And someone from CNN to itnerview you in depth...and...and...ooops!...splat!

Better just run next time, lady, and ask questions later.

Yes, Steve, it surely will. I heard Sen. Lautenberg say that the Senators have no "plan" for this type of evacuation. He said that in the 20 years he has been there he has never seen a plan. What? Every government building, every major company, small companies, businesses, etc. have evacuation plans. Now, it might be true that they have not specifically told the Senators exactly what to do, etc. But, geeze, these people should take some responsability themselves. Haven't they addressed this issue without waiting for someone to do it for them?

They waste time going over the most stupid of details and proposals. How dumb that since 9/11 they have not taken some time to get familiar with the building evacuation plan. It doesn't matter why you are being evacuated, the plan is usually the same and only changes if entrances/exits are blocked, etc.
