Yours is the common mistake made by most secular folks.Weddings in the south are held in the brides Church.($600 for church and reception hall)Finger food and punch (no alcohol in the church)$10 per person tops.Sitdown Dinners away from church are a Yankee thing.(although many transplants have brought them south)Church organist $100 Preacher $100 although he would do it for free.I know of one wedding this size where the catering and serving was done by 15 friends of the Brides mother.They have agreed to all help each other.
