Obscenity prosecutions would be tricky to do. I think that those pictures, while quite disgusting, are probably legal. Certainly the gay sex one is legal. I don't want to know what the other is of.

That's not the way this would be prosecuted. It's one thing to have a picture; it's another entirely to plaster it all over the side of a bank. One is obscenity; the other is criminal defacement and possible restraint of trade.

Dear jude24,

In that the pictures certainly violate the forum's written rules, it seems that posting them a couple of dozen times at least is harassing. Don't know if there's anything criminal to that, but I'd think it could be the basis of a civil suit.

This one picture, I don't think I will ever get out of my head - I've already prayed to God for him to remove it from my memory. It is the worst thing. Satan is busy today. Why don't they remove it? If I have to be afraid of seeing stuff like that on my computer, I'll have to stop coming to Free Republic. Why don't they take it off already????
