No. Civil suits are far too costly. It cost many thousands of dollars to sue Eschoir into leaving.

Here is a place where the State should and could bear the brunt of the cost. We pay taxes; let us use them to identify, prosecute, and jail this individual.

I'm far from an expert in first amendment law, so take my opinion as little more than that of a layman.

That said, this is a political website. His comments were, at their core, political, if offensive. It's my understanding that political speech is particularly protected by the First Amendment, and broad latitude is given to the speaker.
