I have often wondered why a zotted post will still show up on a ping-list. It seems like a weakness in the system.

If at all possible, I would prefer to see this sort of thing dealt with in-house. For instance, letting somebody post a graphic on the first day of registration just invites abuse. I suspect that this person is a petulant little twerp, and it will not take too much to make him go away.

It seems that FR should be the last institution to invite legal intrusion into the content of posts. You would be amazed how many busybodies there are out there who find your run-of-the-mill FR post offensive, and would love to sue to stop it.

But I am PO'ed at this guy to. I would love to see the hurt put on him, one way or another.

I kinda like my (much more mild) zotted posts showing up in my ping lists, though, and so do those I've posted to (so they said by freepmail).

Perhaps we should have two levels of post deletion: Zot, and Delete. Zot makes the post go away in every arena, including the ping-lists. Delete just kills the public publishing but keeps the posts in the ping-lists.
