War of the Worlds is going to tank. I'm looking forward to the release of the War of The Worlds film that is being produced in Great Britain...it supposedly adheres very faithfully to the original H.G. Wells novel.

War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise just doesn't make it for me. (I just can't stand the guy.)
Tank in both cases means not being successful.

I'm looking forward to the release of the War of The Worlds film that is being produced in Great Britain...So am I. The whole tripod martian war machine concept is so much scarier than the 'flying' craft in 1955 film. If it follows the book (the Curate, Thunderchild, handling machines, etc.), it will be cool!
