War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise just doesn't make it for me. (I just can't stand the guy.)
Tank in both cases means not being successful.

I still don't understand who defines success? What you like or $200 million in box office receipts? I am not sure about WOTW...but I bet you dollar to a doughnut that Star Wars will be very successful. It will most likely be tghe biggest office draw of the year and will probably net $500 million world wide. It will be a success.
