Just want to tell you something that should please you no end. Even though I would never be considered by anybody a member of the religious right, I did grow up in this country at a time when all children were taught right from wrong based on Judeo-Christian principles. After months of reading posts on Terri threads by persons who believe that it is of no interest to others in this society that you are on your own moral "trip" (unless of course you happen to be CAUGHT breaking some antique law that just happens to not have been repealed yet,) I began to realize that this is a completely different country than the one I grew up in. There is no saving it; we passed the point of "no return" long ago. The war is over before most of us woke up and realized America had been destroyed. Lucky for me, the odds are in my favor that I will not live long enough to see the country disappear without a trace. I pity you.

See, you have common sense and still retain the ability to understand the difference between right and wrong no matter how the laws have been "adjusted" to cover up the wrong.

And, I am as shocked as you that we are facing rabid discussions about the "rightness" of starving to death a non-dying woman because her "husband" might have heard her say she did not want to live in a disabled state.

Of course, when Terri might have said that - food and water were not considered life support medical treatment. So - she NEVER EVER SAID SHE WOULD WANT TO BE STARVED TO DEATH.

But, of course that is of no worth.
