What about the exit polls?

Go Tony, go!
Oh GOD, Sarah Teather? Lib Dem for Brent East - possibly the most nauseatingly sanctimonious MP of a nauseatingly sanctimonious party.
I wouldn't urinate on the Lib Dem HQ if it was in a 3 alarm blaze. Their whole "tax the rich" redistributionist nonsense should be buried with Karl Marx.

How do we get some good laws like these?
ROTFLMAO !!!!!!!!!!!!
Prime Minister Hands...sounds like what they were calling Schwarzenegger during his campaign. ; )
I like Blair's foreign policy as an American, but I know I couldn't back a socialist if I lived in Britain.
I'd probably vote Tory if I lived there.
What a low life. He released private information about Blair's heart condition and generally did dirty deeds to undermine Blair when he joined President Bush in the Iraq matter.
The website electoralcalculus.co.uk has the following prediction set up:
Lab 389 (-14)
Con 170 (+5)
LD 58 (+7)
SNP/PC 10 (+2)
for a Labour majority of 132. He has Oliver Letwin losing which I honestly do not think is going to happen. Personally, I think Labour's majority will be trimmed down much more than that.
The problem with the polls is that they forget a very old axiom - all politics is local. In Hammersmith and Fulham for example, the Tory should win, even if the swing in votes to the Tories is larger than the national average - because Greg Hands is a decent, articulate candidate with a great track record in the community and his opponent is a mind numbed socialist robot who was lobotomised at birth who has zero history in the area.

How old is this Sarah Teather? Not that it matters, just curious.
Her bio says 29/30, one of the youngest MP's ever.
The Lib Dems are precisely the party for the muesli eating crowd. Think of them as the Haight Ashbury Party, just with fewer sandals and shorter hair.

Thanks, I thought she looked rather young.
As has been posted, she's very young - 29 / 30. Churchill's saying about the brainlessness of people over 30 who remain socialist is particularly pertinent in her case.

I took a look on the profile on Hammersmith and Fulham, and a modest swing will knock Labour out. A VERY winnable seat with no incumbent, and you seem confident that it's going blue tonight. It's good news in any case. Do you see him as part of the next Tory cabinet/shadow cabinet if he wins?
"Has Zogby announced a winner?"
Blair won Florida. No point on going there to vote.
"This will be the only time in my life that i want a liberal to win."
Londonberry has been put into the "green" column.
He should be part of the next Tory shadow cabinet - he definitely has both the charisma and the brains to do it. I have met a few politicians in my time and he's definitely the most articulate I've had the pleasure of meeting.
The other thing about Greg is that he is not afraid to take the Conservative message into places that you wouldn't expect to be interested in hearing it - the council estates (public housing), for example. In that sense, he is taking a leaf out of say, Bret Schundler's playbook when he ran for Mayor of Jersey City.
