The exit poll industry suffers through another credibility gap

Some guy with the strangest hair just said this election is NOT going to be a landslide for Tony Blair. This guy is convinced that Blair will be replaced.

Did the Beeb purposely pick the dumbest sounding Tory?</p>

The British term is "riding." Its been adopted in Canada which adopted parliamentary government in 1867.

I'd love to get a t-shirt with that Conservative torch logo. Ivan, do they sell any over there? : )

I like the tradition of the members standing to hear the results of each district individually.
Queen Hillary would never submit to that.
To: Peach
I haven't a clue. Exciting to see a close win though I believe.

I agree -- their analysts cannot believe the exit polls are wrong and trying to spin! I am sitting here laughing at the spin.

The guy with the strange hair is Boris Johnson (Conservative Party Jester) if you're watching the BBC streaming footage.

Definitely exciting. We've been monitoring on and off today as we planted even more English (how appropriate) ivy.
I've been braiding the older English Ivy today and checking in here occasionally.

From what I understand your Conservatives are so liberal that we wouldn't see eye on much, but they're the best you've got, and our country is far from as conservative as we would like, so we're with you till the end, as they say.
I haven't even been able to allow myself to hope for a black eye for the Socialists in Britain. Could it be that people round the world yearn to breathe free and are only now coming to understand that they've been oppressed by the Party all these years?
