This is looking like a replay of the US exit polls in November 2004! (except that the BBC is much faster to admitting that they are off)
Washington East coming up! 30 seconds to 1 minute

Sky said it wasn't quite that much - but it is encouraging.
This is really a nail biter of an election.

WTH is this little wheel thing on the BBC. We are calling it the Swingometer
It's to show how many seats were won and lost

Was thinking the same -- conservatives on both sides of the Atlantic telling pollsters to stuff it! Gotta love it!

Looks like what's happening so far is the Labour vote going to the Libs and the minor parties. At least in the North East, which is mostly Labour heartland.
It'd be interesting to see some results from the South.
Right now it looks like they may be going below 50 to me.

We should get one of those Swing o meters..

It sure beats Tim Russert with his magic markers!

Houghton declared - Labour victory, but a decline in the share of votes.

I have noticed -- their analysts are having a tough time and they do not look happy with the reporting. Dan Rather looks on some -- am loving it!

"I should point out that during World War II, "Vinegar" Joe Stilwell didn't treat his British counterparts with much courtesy."Off topic, but Stillwell was a disaster, a travesty, and insulting his British counterprts only fits the mold. He didn't treat his Chinese counterprts too very good either, or his American counterparts unless they agreed with his politics.

I think the analysts are about ready to throw up their hands and say "We haven't a clue what's happening".
