Yes, most of the richest gains are from Labour, but there are former Tory seats like Richmond that break the heart when they remain Lib Dem.

How right you are Bubba did do some form of campaigning I remember seeing a big screen of him on TV. We all know as well Blair preferred to go to an economic summit with him and "BONO" instead of Poland for the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.

Oh no...that means they might come back...

Thanks for the insights. I had a feeling that we get a distorted view by the media. Well, was very nearly cetain of it.
Can't wait to go.
To: MadIvan
Well we'll just all have to wait and see. A possible upset certainly would make a fun election night, and the Conservatives can't really get much deeper in the hole than they already are (for the most part). If Labour has a net gain of seats, I'll eat a shoe.

Excellent. I hope Canada kicks out Martin - and then all the left wingers who moved from America to there would have done so for nothing. It was the day after martin made the deal with the NDP, and this is Hamilton, Ontario, were talking about, the heart of the liberals stronghold of Ontario and not one caller was pro-martin, but were mad as hell.
Below is the link to the radio station, it was the Roy Martin show I was listening to.

a throwback to the ridiculous exit polls last November. Yeah! That was the one where the liberals lied, and said they voted for Kerry.

I do not believe that Labour will gain seats tonight - there's no reason for gains. People, generally speaking, are tired and unenthusiastic about Labour.

What is the story here so far? Is Blair losing -- and if he does, is that bad for us?

Well this actually has some basis in the polling data - the data has hitherto indicated that the people most determined to go to the polls are Tory voters. If Labour voters stay at home...well things could get interesting.
