The Vote is under way!
The thing I find hilarious is that the Liberal Democrats were partially founded by defectors from Labour who said it was too left wing. Now the far left of the Labour vote is the Lib Dems natural constituency. Go figure.

Anyplace we can get live Election returns and/or exit polls?
Since we will be allies of and need to work with the Prime Minister and government that the British public elects, I care a great deal.
And so should you.
What a sad comment that "Labour" is the middle party. IIRC, it used to be further left than LDP, but I can't be sure.
I've seen some of their shows on the BBC, and they appear quite poor already. Our social parasites here in the U.S. live like kings and queens compared to their way of life. A Socialist government would destroy what little they have left.
When I saw Prince Charles getting married, it looked like an American 1950's family home movie.
Can't oblige on the sexual favors as I am a married woman, but alcohol sounds good.
Livingston County.
Well Blair pushed Labour to the right, the Liberals were pushed by Kennedy to the Left, and the Tories have remained on the right, but finding Blair stealing some of their ground.
However I have an in-bred, hard wired aversion to voting Labour. I simply cannot do it, and won't do it. I was more receptive to the Lib Dems when they were led by Paddy Ashdown, who seemed to understand that he had to keep to the right of Labour - however since they're the left wing freaks party, sod them.

SLOW DOWN.
I thought tories were conservatives? I am not saying Muslims can't be good conservatives, or conservatives are anti-minority. But I would think conservatives and Muslims may not always get along. (two examples) Muslims being immigrants to the UK and conservatives wanting slow immigration. Any Muslims even remotely intrested in Sharia would by definition be a big government type and conservatives (at least in the US) by definition oppose that.
What did I miss?
As my country is sending the lads to fight, bleed and die along yours, I doubt you can say we're "unfriendly". The only thing that triggers anti-American feeling is comments...well, like yours. But fortunately, you're a tiny minority, not worth thinking about.
Ivan
sorry
Well, then they'd grow a nice lawn, yes.
That's OK. I'll take the fee anyway!
What is the feeling toward the U.S. of the average British citizen? I am dying to visit England but don't want to encounter a cool reception.
What's the fee?
Constituency Information - Bethnal Green & Bow
Note the following about this constituency: At the 2001 census the Muslim population numbered 45,000 or just over 39% of the total - the second highest in the country.

To quote a British patriot, "Sod off, Swampy!"
Sounds like Rush is serious about the Tories sweeping into power according to exit polls.
I wouldn't be surprised, but I have no idea, that the early exit polls in the UK would be the same way. All the MoveOn type's were in line to vote a week ago, and the normal people have yet to schedule their trip.
