"pend some time looking through the forums and talking to Muslims themselves from around the world."

I agree with you, during my stay at Purdue I have worked closely with quite a few international students. Many of them Muslim, I have grown to respect them, and there religion. While being a Christian I do not agree with their doctrine, I afford them respect and understand the differences between those monsters who strap bombs on themselves, and Omar from next door who is simply trying to be a good citizen. The late Pope John Paul II was big on this idea of understanding and respecting other religions while still adhering to your owns faiths traditional teachings.

"You might learn a few things and after that I will be more than happy to discuss in greater detail things that you still might have questions on."

There is no need for condescension here, and please stop hawking your website to me, if I feel there is information to be gleaned from there I will visit it. I admit I am getting a little frustrated, I am trying to engage is some discourse and your every rebuttal seems to insult my understanding of "Islam" and then you simply citing a website. Like I said, if you have so much experience, refute everything I have said instead of just imply I don't know what I am talking about.

Is it at all possible, that is it not condescension on my part, but rather a lack of humility and respect on your part.

FaithFreedom is NOT my website and I am not hawking it to you. You asked questions and I directed you there because I felt that you might find what you are looking for there without engaging me all day on the subject. A simple "thank you I'll check it out" would have been enough.

You are frustrated because you want instant gratification. Slow down and take it easy. You will learn.

Knowledge and wisdom are not synonymous.
