EveningStar, long ago, when I was a new poster; sure I'd be upset. And respond. Now, too many years online has taught me what a waste of time it is to brawl with some posts, ideas, or malignings. I'd rather stay on topic, and learn, or have fun with fellow posters. I've been mischaracterized for so long and in so many ways.. and? After a while it just doesn't matter anymore. What does matter? Not ugly names called me or you; but ideas. Knowledge. Wisdom.

Posters freely engaging in the brawl over name-calling? Don't we all enjoy spending our time playing Jesse Jackson, Patricia Ireland, Pelosi games? The "ad hominem" in lieu of substantive or civil post? So let's all burn bandwidth brawling over "ad hominems" while bigger battles are lost. Maybe, EveningStar, we all are here in these forums for our own needs to be met. Some posters seem to enjoy the personal brawling aspect; no matter what the issue is.
