That's NO joke. He never agreed with the 'Liturgists' who dumped the Latin Mass totally, in favor of the Mass done in the vernacular. He thinks Latin Mass should be available to those who wish to attend it, and it not be such a hardship to do so.
One only needs to WATCH B-16's public Masses to know what language he favors. For that matter, B-16 wrote the script for JPII's funeral Mass.
