Even though "right now she is not" charged with anything, that's just one of those police fictions. There was footage of her being marched through the airport with each arm near circulation cut-off by a way-too-unnecessarily-menacing cop.

If they actually said "she is not being charged", that only means that they don't have her in the local jurisdiction yet and/or that they haven't been bribed or sweet-talked enough by the family or families -- both of which are well-to-do and I believe the father of the groom is a judge.

Actually going "walk about" is not a crime.The only crime she committed was the false report in New Mexico.They have declined to prosecute.The Ga. police incurred no expense based on her actually breaking the law because it occured at the same time she let them know she was safe.she owes a lot of people an apology but legally that is probably all.
