Excellent about the poke in the medias eyes. Did you like her chain saw jokes? Texas chainsaw massacre. Why he & Cheney & Rumsfeld get along so well?

Look at the look on Dubya's face . . . he's having as good a time as Laura is. He seems like he's enjoying the hell out of her monologue!
It's so nice to see a couple genuinely in love.

But some of those jokes were beneath the First Lady's dignity
The whole thing was a tailor made feminist cave in: interrupting her husband, the little lady speaking up, desperate housewives, chainsawing down anything he doesn't like. It was written as though to please Andrea Dworkin.

Clearly you didn't get the memo.
We are a dour, humorless bunch, except when we're lighting our cigars with old ladies' Social Security checks, at which time we chuckle evilly.

Can you imagine any other president being secure enough in his own skin to put up with a public ribbing like that?Behind every successful man....

So women who go to Chippendales are Bible school debutantes, then? What would you call the image of the Vice President's wife giving a male stripper a dollar bill?
A role model?

Lighten up - it was a lot of fun. Even conservative Christians know that there is no secularfeminazi lurking behind every tree.

I said that I missed the "whore" stuff. Not the "silly, off-color joke" stuff.

What would you call the image of the Vice President's wife giving a male stripper a dollar bill? Comedy.
You know, the absurd juxtaposition of incongruous concepts?
Example: A drunken slut pawing over a male stripper would not be funny.
Lynn Cheney doing the same thing would be ludicrous and absurd. And funny.
