The American Revolutionaries wasted alot of really good tea! I suspect had they kept it we wouldn't have been stuck with Lipton for so long.

*shrug*

Telemarketers made me hate the phone so much, I will not use it anymore, so for me, it's a non-issue.

Email is asynchronous, and not intrusive, and I do not have to drop everything when email arrives...An hour or two for an answer is fine. Spam filters and blocking continue to improve, and I rarely get any anymore.

But "Do not call " lists have too many exemptions for "Charities*" and in effect, do not work as well as spam filters now.

Click here for my VoIP company....

http://www.b2bcnet.com/

After 25+ years in telecom (background Electrical Engineer) I started this business last year.......

VoIP is currently not subject to the state & federal taxes (3% excise tax excluded) that the standard local and LD carriers must charge.

Unfortunately, we do not sell direct but only Affinity groups....

Hmmmmm...maybe I should talk to Jim Robinson....

My only phone at home is a pre-paid minutes cell - less than $8.00 a month. No cable. :)

nobody can escape the USF fee (aka the AlGore phone tax). people blame the phone companies, but they were forced to pass the cost onto the consumer. There is only one way to kill capitalism:by taxes, taxes, and more taxes. -Karl Marx Corporations don't pay taxes, they collect them. ----- Paul H. O'Neill
