ATLANTA (CNN) -- Jennifer Wilbanks, a Georgia woman missing since Tuesday night, has been found alive and well in New Mexico, a friend of the family told CNN.
Wilbanks was located in Albuquerque, New Mexico and told her family she had been abducted and taken there, according to John Kim, a friend of Wilbank's family.
Excerpt - story follows:CNN
I think you are right.
Oh, good. That sounds a lot better. And maybe all the businesses involved (caterers, etc.) will still honor their services so it won't cost double.
Exactly. She is alive and well and that's what mattered.
Did I do a typo?
It takes about a month buy the body just shuts down and you slip off into a coma and die.
Maybe they cut her hair sort of as a control type thing. You know, "If you try to run or scream your hair won't be the only thing you lose" sort of thing.
Kidnappers wouldn't need to cut her hair to make her look different. They would hide her so no one could see her at all.
Now on the other hand if she didn't want to be found, she'd cut her own hair to change her appearance.
Perhaps the news coverage of her family in great pain caused her to change her mind.
To me that's more probable. But anythings possible...
Praise God for answered prayer!!
Oh, OK, then you're thinking all the wedding news caught their attention and they saw big bucks in grabbing the bride?
CNN saying she's being interrogated by the FBI right now and then will be taken to the hospital.
She looks tired, has shorter hair. Released at a Circle K.
Possibility she was sexually assaulted.
Just look at a road map and make the connections. They are not smart people. They are likely in Amarillo, TX or farther at this point. I know the route. Prove me wrong in a few days. Actually, about 36 hours from there to here.
with no money, no cellphone, no car, no luggage...just jog off to New Mexico??
The wedding news was likely splashed across the local papers and her running routine might have been known. Heck, kcvl, this is a strange one, huh?
CNN & N.M. Ch. 7 News latest: Jennifer is being "interrogated" by FBI agents and then will be taken to the Hospital.
And LE is trying to see if there were surveillence videos at the Circle K service station where Jennifer was dropped off.
The hispanic man in question is said to have spoken in Spanish.
I hope they find the creeps that did this! It is so strange!
Jennifer's mom talking on CNN right now
No kidding!
It's hard to watch CNN. They are so bad!
Thank goodness she is alive and well! That being said, something just isn't right about this situation. It's not passing my natural and patented BS Detection System.
Then again, it has been wrong in the past. Lets see what happens.
32 is too old for a Mexico trade.
They like 'em young and dumb. This woman isn't dumb.
I was born Conservative too. My father is a 3rd generation farmer, and both his dad and my dad don't believe in farm subsidies.
I know what you mean!
