I'd guess fifty-fifty that it was cold feet verses being kidnapped. We'll see if her story stands up after being investigated. I suppose it's possible after all the media attention the kidnappers got scared. But the same thing could be said for her as well.Seriously? I think she got a little nutty and split.

These other reporters need to remember that a tiny kindness can go a very long way.
I've had media sticking a camera in my face plenty of times on scenes. (since I'm a paramedic.)
Most of them are simply dreadful people. (Not talking about YOU of course-aren't you in radio or something?)

Well, that Elizabeth Smart case was a weird one, too. Sometimes we don't realize that there is a whole parallel universe of crazy people in our country.

LOL. both versions sound unreal to me.

Her stepfather said that the kidnappers were talking about money. Jennifer overheard them talking about it. She called her fiance's house collect and they kept her on the phone until the police could get to her. She kept saying that she was cold and scared.

I'd guess fifty-fifty that it was cold feet verses being kidnapped. We'll see if her story stands up after being investigated. I just wonder WHAT ABDUCTORS would bother to cut her hair and then do no more harm to her.
IF she faked it herself (and I hope that is not true), it would be easy for her to cut her own hair, causing no real physical harm to herself, then call from far away.... and say come and get me.
I don't know, this is odd. But I'm so glad that she is safe! If it's all for real it's a great triumphant story.
