ATLANTA (CNN) -- Jennifer Wilbanks, a Georgia woman missing since Tuesday night, has been found alive and well in New Mexico, a friend of the family told CNN.
Wilbanks was located in Albuquerque, New Mexico and told her family she had been abducted and taken there, according to John Kim, a friend of Wilbank's family.
Excerpt - story follows:CNN
Should have said above didn't know WHO she was...
Will Julia Roberts play her in the movie version, "The Runaway Bitch"?
I'm telling you- listening to this tape is infuriating.
She is one sick cookie- delusional. This girl was giving very specific details to the 911 operator (who, by the way was cool, calm and collected).
UPDATE: Jennifer has a written statement to release by the PIO in New Mexico...this will be shortly.
What a saga..
This just keeps getting better. CNN has her 911 call. LOL.
CNN just playing the tape.
Hard to understand, but she calms down to give the description.
Wow!
the presumption of innocence applies in a courtroom, not the court of popular opinion. from time immemorial people have conjectured on the guilt or innocence of their fellow citizens and it is not against the law to do so. i often hear the presumption of innocence bandied around on FR as if every citizen is entitled to have judgment withheld on any actions they take until they are convicted in a court of law, that is just not required. people talk, that's just life. if something happens to someone in your personal life, it's likely there would be conjecture about your involvement. same goes for anyone here.
Guess what....you were right!
...""Hispanic man..in his 40's..medium build..maroon jacket..white t-shirt. blue jeans...blue mini-van..working van like a painter's van..."
This is how detailed her description is.
I think she should be required to marry Michael Schivo for punishment.
I wonder how many of the wedding guests have non-refundable airline tix to attend this extravaganza.
Hahahahah, Jennifer has issues! One of my mini dachsies has 'food' issues...translated, this means if anyone gets between Honey and her food, they're dead.
This story just gets more and more bizarre.
They're playing it on CNN now, but I can't understand the words.
Still wearing the sweat shirt and pants she had on where she left.
where=when
does she just not think far enough ahead to how this is going to play out? i mean Lord, you do something that boneheaded and it isn't just your family that knows about it, or even just your hometown, she's got nationwide coverage of her nuttiness out there in the public for all to see. it would be logical to assume that be it kidnapping, cold feet or whatever, it was going to be big news and her family etc would be under the spotlight because of it. Heck, if i were the fiance, i would have probems marrying her after she made me look like a potential murderer to many.
She had at least two full days in Vegas. I wonder what the heck she did while she was there.
What the family should do is have the reception anyway, make it a welcome home, we love you, Jenn and John, too, party. The guests, relatives, and friends need to unwind. It would be a good way for Jenn to get over the initial awkwardness of meeting her family, friends, etc.. They'd be drunk, they'd just hug her, no recriminations, etc..
