The reason the Police Chief kept saying they couldn't rule out "cold feet" was because they must have discovered some unexplained cash withdrawals from her account. I think that also explains the somewhat flippant attitude of the fiance. He had to have at least had an inkling that she had split.

And in my opinion, his request to have the polygraph taped and his lawyer present was perfectly reasonable. As a matter of fact, if this had turned out to have been an abduction, I would have placed more blame on the cops for not agreeing to the terms of the polygraph than the fiance. What's wrong with having a record of the process??

This is not one of those wedding deals were they kidnap the bride is it?

LOL, when my ex and I got hitched in Colorado, my Mom had invited some Mexican friends. They kidnapped my wife and called for the 'ransom'. Sadly, no one in the party knew of the custom and I only collected about $60.

A groom and I then drove to a bar in Golden where they were holding her. Once we paid the 'ransom' we went outside and shot guns in the air. (this was a long time ago)

On the up side, no one was arrested.

I read on another site that she had sent a Dear John, however no source was cited.

Even Greta asked about the withdrawal from her account, but her Dad and Greta acted like it was such a small amount, that it couldn't be considered "evidence".

Fox is saying she bought her ticket ahead of time, so the withdrawal could have been made a week earlier---which would coincide with wedding expenditures and stuff....

Actually on Greta's show last night , she said that there was a "small" withdrawal on an account at 8:05 pm. on Tuesday evening. It certainly made me sit up and re-think this sad story. I also thought the family press conference yesterday, was set up to let Miss Wilbanks see what devastation she had placed upon her family.

Hmmm. A bus ticket to Vegas and 5 days worth of money to stay there can't be that small. I would think one could hardly expect to travel from GA to Vegas on anything less than $1000, and even then it would be on the cheap.

......and the press has EGG all over its face.

Not only the press. How about their Minister who early on couldn't resist getting in front of cameras to say he knew this couple well; they were truly in love and excited about their upcoming nuptials and any talk of cold feet was completely out of the realm. Frankly the first mention of 'cold feet' was out of his mouth and I thought he was looking for his 15 minutes.

The people on CNN, who were having a LOVE FEST with this girl and her family just minutes ago, are stunned!

It was funny the first few minutes but when I tuned in several hours later they were still in the same stunned state. Sheesh, they're a mixmatched couple who interrupt one another to repeat mundane crap they said earlier. Horrible anchors.

Odd.
If you do a search under jsk10 postings over the last several days, he makes a remark about leads they can't discuss at the moment. What leads?

the Feds were so hesitant with calling this a criminal act.

Yes, but the Duluth police chief started calling this a "criminal investigation" a couple days ago. So now all of a sudden, it's not criminal anymore??

I KNEW it was fishy! I went to bed last night thinking that she really got cold feet and was NOT abducted.

This story will be fodder for the feminists masquerading as journalists. They will use this story to push their marxist agenda of destroying the family unit....marraige is "oppressive" didn't you know?

Society loves its misfits and I am a huge promoter of tough love when they are young so we don't have these kinds of personalities to deal with. The good LORD in his infinite wisdom "CREATED" the human body with numerous systems to make a positive connection. The body is a electrical dynamo that connects all areas. For Societal Brats, the Glutious Maximus when properly stimulated with tough love will send a un-mistakable message to the BRAIN. Throw away Dr. Spock & introduce them to Mr. Belt; Rowdiness is a controllable condition and yes I feel great, thank you very much!
