ATLANTA (CNN) -- Jennifer Wilbanks, a Georgia woman missing since Tuesday night, has been found alive and well in New Mexico, a friend of the family told CNN.
Wilbanks was located in Albuquerque, New Mexico and told her family she had been abducted and taken there, according to John Kim, a friend of Wilbank's family.
Excerpt - story follows:CNN
His dad [Mayor,Judge,Lawyer] gave him an intensive "Here's What You Should Do if...."
Yes there was, when she called from New Mexico and said she was.
Now... if you are saying they were involved before that, I think with a major spotlight case like this and the ease of travelling, they may get called in to support police depts that may not have a lot of experience with this kind of thing.
If my daughter went missing (or in- law) and I had the clout, I know I'd use it if I could. It may not be the right thing to do but I know I would.
Damn straight.
"Homeland Security got involved in the first place?. I want to know why the FBI got involved."
Doesn't Homeland Security require a passenger manifest similiar to the airlines and Amtrak for bus transportation? Doesn't Greyhound require some type of identification for ticket purchases or boarding?? I visited the Greyhound website and didn't see anything about security.
absolutely. The worst thing that could happen is that she gets the Oprah treatment. What this woman did was unforgivable in my book and I hope the fiance realizes that he was saved from marrying a deeply troubled woman.
No kidding!
Remember when that black woman doctor turned up missing not too long ago? Barely a mention more than one media cycle. No Feds, no state, just local.
Stuffed in the trunk of her car by an ex-husband.
I'm starting to get ticked off.
good point.
I think they will have people at the Albequerqe airport, filming them as they get off the plane, and filming her as she boards. CNN probably already had a reporter en route when they found out the truth. HA!
Was she ugly? The liberal media loves a pretty face. That's why I don't read it/watch it anymore.
Could not agree more, but this would require a US Court to hold a woman responsible for her actions-which is most unlikely to happen.
By tomorrow, we'll find out that this poor schlub who was in her crosshairs until this morning was "abusive" or "controlling".
I bet Gloria Allred is on her rolodex.
The pastor wants everyone keep praying for Jennifer even though she's been found. And she probably needs as many prayers now as she ever did, particularly if CNN continues it's coverage.
Of course... nothing BS about the level of search. The media jumped on this because they love a drama with a pretty bride, not because this family in Deluth had any power over them.
Agreed.
No doubt whatsoever. What do you think are the chances that CNN or some other network has a reporter buying a plane ticket to get the first interview ON THE PLANE? The first question will be "How do you FEEL?"
I saw the Pastor as well but I am thinking he's just doing some spinning for the family. After all, they are WEALTHY.
You shootin for the screenplay for the LIFETIME version?
"particularly if CNN continues it's coverage."
CNN has "Jennifer." Fox has "Michael" CBS has "problems."
I'm stuned I tell ya, just stuned. I'm left handed and think backwards. It's a series problem for me. heh heh
