I could not beleive the blase way that he said, if she was dead, that would be great because she would be in heaven...

My experience is that that is quite typical fundalmentalist-speak.

She needs a damn good whacking is what she needs. Old enough to know better. No sympathy for her, only for her family and friends.

If the fiance was a normal guy, I would totally buy what you said...

And I do agree with you about the waiting---I just couldn't imagine how I would handle not knowing where one of my loved ones was....

But, I have gotten a distinctly "weird" vibe from this guy from the first---not necessarily guilty of murder, but just kinda "disinterested", not really all that emotional...so I thought his remarks, considering the personality that he has, added together was just way bizarre...

I will keep an open mind...I know exhaustion can make people do really odd things, so I will just sit back and see what happens.

You are right. There are many women who disappear and don't get this insane media coverage.

BTW, where did she get the MONEY to catch a bus, who cut her hair, how did she leave without ANYTHING with her?!!!

I'm just catching up, so if this has been speculated or stated already, you can ignore this :) My guess is she had this planned. She probably stashed money and a change of clothes in a locker at the bus station. Who know when she cut her hair. Possibly went to a salon after she got where she was going.

I want to know why the FBI got involved.

Hadn't heard HS was... but FBI would be involved because/if it was a kidnapping that crossed state lines... always have been.

Just an observation,
The pastor stated,"there has been a lot of drama this week". I think they're all a bunch of Drama-Queens, even her fiance.

I think if you look close, we're all weird. What's our pre-conception of normal? Movies that depict reactions that are acted?

She needs more than therapy. She needs to be charged with being a public nuisance and spend some time alone she craves in the lockup, for forcing people to search for her and for fueling racial fires, all because of her personal nuptial reticence.

I agree, although I found a couple statements he said on national TV rather weird (approximations):

There could be only two outcomes, she went to heaven, and I'm OK with that, or she comes back to me, and I'm OK with that. Either way she's a winner!

What's up with that?

There was no indication it was a kidnapping that crossed state lines. None.

That is the REAL story.
The heat needs to be put on the media to expose this BS.

I want to see if she's STILL wearing her jogging clothes when she gets off the plane or whether she's decked out in a completely different outfit. Everything else about this was premeditated.

I heard on CNN that she will not be prosecuted. Can we all say "political pull"?
