Trying to paint her as a 14 year old runaway victim is a stupid tangent to go down too. YOU are the one who put that meaning to my words. My point was the criminilization of runaway, not anything to do at all with victimhood or age.

re: They will talk and cry, everyone will get mad , talk and cry. The bridesmaids will be totally pissy. The groomsmen will get drunk and talk football. Her father has forgiven her already. The Pastor will soon be called.
And they will get married and everyone will be happy and throw bird seed. And hopefully she will get some flatware. I am thinking of sending her a fork. ------

I just came back to have my sides split just a little more by your wit. My perennial nursery is on my acreage, so the computer is closeby. You are about the funniest person on this site.... you and the great martin_fierro!

YOU are the one who put that meaning to my words. You were talking that nonsense all by yourself since you got here. Obviously you cannot own up to it, because it's absolutely ridiculous.

Are you serious? Did the fiance actually say it would have been "great" if she turned out dead because she'd be in heaven???
Another example of feeble minded religious nuts.

Then you agree the laws need to be changed? I wouldn't criminalize or create a civil penalty for runaway, and I don't seriously advocate stopping public assistance in searching for missing persons.
To: Howlin
CNN is having a tantrum.
I'm hanging on this story until I see the bride's makeover.
Hey, there's another reality show.

"I awoke at 3:33AM [cue theme from 'Jaws'] and couldn't get back to sleep. And we ALL know what THAT means!"Don't make me guess ;-)

"Trying to paint her as a 14 year old runaway victim is a stupid tangent to go down too."
Not a tangent when it's a case of a missing person who may have run away from an adult responsibility causing tax payers and authorities precious time and resources when there are real serious, child abduction cases occurring weekly.

Maybe she can shop a bit while waiting for her parents to arrive.Maybe she can go to a nice hair boutique to get her hair done right, it's hard to cut it well all by yourself.
