Yes, but think of the story they have to tell their daughters some day. I hope they saved the newspapers and the video from Greta.
we all just need to forgive and forget and get on with the fabulous wedding.
I do hope they can get her hair in shape and the veil won't look funny. And what if she lost weight and her dress needs altering. I think it is going to be a wonderful wedding and everyone will cry buckets with joy that these two kids made it.
And the Pastor can give a little talk about how you have to really really work at marriage. And the bride will be so demure and the groom will be her protector. So nobody will mention the "late unpleasantness" or they will be univited to Ladies Club meetings.

But I think weddings in the North are way over done, too.
Personally, it was never the wedding that was the most important thing to me.
She is going to be so popular,,stories like this are what makes a southern girl popular!
Uh-oh. Crawler says Mason is a "man of faith".
Looks like their putting out some information because someone is getting nailed for something. Perhaps he was in on it and filed a false police report himself?
If any relative of their used their position to push this search, they will be nailed for abuse of power. This ain't over by a long shot. Media wants their pound of flesh and will get it.
Not that there is anything wrong with the bride-to-be spending a few days with a Chippendale dancer. ;^)
I didn't realize the media smeared the fiance. What did the media say?
You are correct.
THe lack of flatware has had me disturbed all morning. Didn't anyone give her a silver, china, crystal tea?
"Anybody considering the possibility that she met someone else and didn't want to go through with the marriage to John?"
Nah. One of my original theories was she's a flake like that college girl who faked her own kidnapping. Time will tell if the police can't or can find the alleged abducters. They could be real and then again this could've been all staged. America keeps getting weirder and weirder. One big drama after another. Who needs tv soap operas when we have real kooks out there.
BINGO! I was the one that wanted to run away.
Free republic is a great place for people to have fun and theorize on public issues of the day. It's not a court of law. I thought the fiance had something to do with her disappearance. I even speculated the two of them were trying to get ransom money out of the very wealthy parents. I had a riot doing it. I have a feeling that a lot more is gonna come out in the next few days about this young lady. I bet she's had quite a few "issues" in the past. I have a sneaking suspicion the parents and fiance just thought it was another case of Jennifer being Jennifer. I also bet they were not forthcoming with the police and the media about her past instability. Hey, I could be totally wrong, but it's a lot fun to trying to guess and nobody gets hurt.
They put out that he wouldn't take a lie detector test without parameters, and they also leaked that he lawyered up. It was pretty nasty.
What's with those eyes...especially the right one? ;^)
The media needs to remember............What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas. LOL
I just got on line and haven't had chance to read this whole thread---dang, some of ya'll stayed up all night with this?
I just watched the most bizarre replay on Fox. They were interviewing the fiance right after finding out she was alive, but before they found out it was a hoax.....
He was asked how he felt and he said something like--"Better, although I knew either way it had turned out would have been GOOD, if she was DEAD, that would have been GREAT because she would have been in heaven, but if she was alive then of course that would be GOOD also....it was the not knowing that is the worst".
Of course we all know that the waiting is the worst, BUT---
I could not beleive the blase way that he said, if she was dead, that would be great because she would be in heaven...
I am a Christian, but even some of the most devout Christians that I know would be devastated at the idea of their fiance, dying just a few days before they were to get married.....This just didn't set right with me...
Am I reading too much into that comment he made? Did any of ya'll see that interview and think it was an odd way for him to react?
Preacher called Mason a man of faith. Don't try to imply that both Mason and Jennifer are being hung out to dry by their own pastor.
Heh heh.
I doubt there was another man but those bridesmaids looked suspicious to me. One might have helped her.
I gotta get out of bed and go eat breakfast.
See you all later.
