Saddam Hussein DID have WMD's, we knew that. He used them killings thousands of his own people. Enough chemical weapons were found to kill a population of 500,000 people. many weapons and weapons programs in violation of the conditions of the Gulf War ceasefire were found.

The '91 ceasefire was continually violated by Saddam's Iraq and should have prompted the resuming of hostilities years before 2003.

Dictators and Tyrants cannot be appeased. They cannot be dealt with by treaties, they are dishonest and should immediatelyu be held to account.

Tony Blair was right, Saddam did have WMD's, he used them. Since Saddam was in noncompliance with the Gulf War ceasefire agreement the Iraq War was entirelt legal, and necessary.

Those responsible for the Iraq war being necessary are the United Nations, the nations and businesses of Germany, France, Russia and China who continued doing business with Iraq in violation of sanctions.

Tell me, what will Europeans do if the globalists and socialists have their way and diminish the United States from a superpower to just another "equal" socialist state?
I mean, since America saved Europe from the abyss of tyranny 3 times in the 20th century, if America is not able to do this again, who will save Europe the next time the forces of evil are empowered by appeasement and begin to march?
who? what nation will save you?

Tony Blair amazed me by his stubborn rightness!

I am not disagreeing with you about anything Saddam did and I already said I agree with going to war but Blair did not give us the full facts and he did not push our intelligence enough either.

Dick Cheney repeatedly asked the question about WMDs of the American intelligence and the words 100% certain and immediate threat were not banded out as much in the US as in Britain. Blair accepted the possibility as absolute proof. He was not honest about regime change thats the difference.

Blair also saw this as an opportunity of getting on the world stage and jumped at it. In his mind he had to embellish the truth to get the war past his own MPs.

What America see of Tony Blair is what Tony Blair wants them to see the majority of people in Britain are fed up with his lies and rhetoric broken promises higher taxes worse health service etc etc but unfortunately feel that the Tories do not have depth and caliber of MPs to run the country and feel the Lib Dems do not stand a hope of getting elected. So by default Blair will win.
